Eve Thomas
Eve hails from a background where sporting excellence and academic achievement were always encouraged. Her mother, Sarah Hardcastle, was an Olympic swimmer herself and growing up Eve always idolised her. Growing up in New Zealand, a nation known for its strong sporting culture, Eve was drawn to competing in many sports in her youth, naturally though, like her mum, water became her second home.
Eve has dedicated the past seven years training at St. Peters Western in Australia, widely regarded as one of the premier swimming programs globally. Under the guidance of coach Dean Boxall and alongside fellow swimmer, Ariarne Titmus, it was in this elite environment in which she developed her skill set specialising in distance events.
Having spent seven years in a top-tier program, she has gained invaluable insights from elite coaching and competition. Her background in distance events equips her with the technical knowledge and strategies needed to help swimmers excel. Her extensive training experience and her deep understanding of the sport, as well as her ability to inspire others make her a natural leader, fostering a positive and motivating environment for her athletes.
